The Bible says in: Where does faith come from? Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. For our faith as Christians to grow, we must read the WORD / BIBLE. Read the verse again. I have wondered over the years as I am sure you have why many prayers were not answered. It was those times I wasn't in the word, so I could not have faith that my prayer would be answered. Many times a prayer is answered based on the faith of someone praying for us. God has shown me recently that if I am trying to pray in faith agreeing with a friend on my behalf and I haven't been in the word, I am in reality creating a problem. The Bible says in Matthew 18:19 "Again I say unto you. That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven.". Based in the Word of God, I / we cannot agree in faith if we haven't been reading the Word. God has shown me since becoming a Christian that God's Word is what our daily walk should revolve around. Lets look at John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was
with God, and the word was God. We just learned that the WORD was here from the beginning of time. The WORD was with God. If the WORD was with God, how much more important is it that we have the WORD with us and in us.
